Apple is, among other things, famous for the fantastic synergy of software and hardware as possible due to absolute control over their products. This means that iPhone devices are often better optimized than rival Android smart phones. Just try to compare the Android with 3GB of RAM and the iPhone with 3GB of RAM and everything will be clear. Of course the price of this is somewhat less functional, but it’s a story for another time. The problem with this kind of synergy is that Apple often puts the minimum of RAM needed for the best user experience, but in the long run it has almost always been a bad or, at least, questionable move (software upgrade, hungry applications, etc.). In the beginning, they even saw this lack of RAM as they showed many comparisons of the iPhone X and the best Android phones, where these others could always keep more active applications in the RAM. It’s almost certain that you will not feel it in everyday work, but it is one of those things that comes sooner or later, in one way or another.

iPhone X 2018 with 4 GB of RAM?

Fortunately, the next generation of iPhone seems to have 4GB of RAM (or at least one of them). Namely, through the popular Geekbench test, iPhone has been labeled iPhone 11.2. Because of that number 11 many believe it is the sucessor of iPhone X but of course there is no way to confirm it. Geekbench has revealed that this upcoming iPhone has 4GB of RAM, iOS 12 and a newer processor labeled D321AP. The Apple A11 had the D22AP tag, and it only had a slightly better result than it – 4673 points in a single-core test and 10912 in a multi-core test.

There is no way to confirm the authenticity of this test and it is quite possible that somebody has started playing with the data, but this has so far been very rare. We will see how the situation will develop in the coming weeks and months so we will know better what to expect and how true this is. Let’s recall, Apple is expected to launch three iPhone on the 9th of this year. The basic model should have a 6.1″ screen and one rear camera, another is the iPhone X’s successor with a 5.8″ screen and two cameras, and the third successor to the Plus model, and should come with a large 6.5″ screen.
